Is the produce organic?

We have been certified organic through MOSA since 2010. This means not using any synthetic sprays like pesticides or herbicides. Weed control is practiced with hand tools, and pest control through the use of floating row fabrics, among other techniques.

Do you deliver to my house?

We do offer home delivery to some areas, if they are near our regular delivery routes. Since our delivery drivers at this time are also your farmers, we need to carefully consider our timing schedule. If you request home delivery, we will let you know if your address is approved for home delivery. If it is NOT approved, we hope that one of our other sites might be convenient for you!

Sites that are open to all other members are located in: Fort Atkinson, Jefferson, Oconomowoc, Watertown, and at High Meadow Farm in Milford! We may be adding additional delivery sites, if you have a question regarding delivery sites feel free to email us! Please note that some sites are workplaces and open to those employees only.  Actual addresses can be found here.

If you would like to host a pick up site near you or at your work-place give us a call!

That sounds like a lot of money. I’m not sure if I can afford a membership.

Paying for all your produce at one time does seem expensive, but if you think about how much of your budget your family spends on groceries over the season, it is actually a bargain. Prices were set based on the market value of produce, then given a more than 10% discount off that price. Per week for a full share, you will be paying less than $30 for a bounty of the freshest veggies not to mention the fact that they are organic. Think about that the next time you purchase your groceries.

How do I pay?

We prefer check, but will also accept credit cards. An installation payment plan can be set up for those who prefer.

What if I can’t pick up one week?

With our online customization, you are able to cancel your order for the week and your add-on shares will automatically roll-over for the week. Otherwise, share in the 'community' aspect of CSA and ask a friend or neighbor pick up your share for you if you are unable to.

What if I don’t know how to use/store/prepare an item?

The weekly newsletter will offer tips on this. You are also encouraged to email Meg at the farm if you have any questions regarding using your produce!

What do I do with my box?

To keep costs low, we reuse the boxes each week. Please leave them at the site and bring your own bag to pack your share into. Please fold the box nicely so it can be used again.

I love my High Meadow Farm veggies! Where can I get more?
